It works though, so nice?_ + It's been a few months since I've put any updates on here. I would really like to try doing more with this site. I've made some changes to how projects are displayed on the site. Instead of linking to GitHub, it now actually shows the source right here on the website, with all files and commit history available to traverse. It came alongside a recent personal push towards self-hosting everything. I've spent the last few weeks moving away from pretty much every third-party service that I use to store my data (willingly) that I could think of. It's been going really well, but moving from GitHub has been a bit of an annoyance. -Right now this site is hosted on a VPS, whereas all of my other stuff is hosted on a home server which - due to circumstances outside my control - I am unable to run 24/7. For now my compromise has been pulling in data from my Git server and then using that to populate my projects page. I've actually been having some fun writing [that functionality too](/projects/lukeonline/files/src/pages/projects)! +Right now this site is hosted on a VPS, whereas all of my other stuff is hosted on a home server which - due to circumstances outside my control - I am unable to run 24/7. For now my compromise has been pulling in data from my Git server and then using that to populate my projects page. I've actually been having some fun writing ~~[that functionality too]()~~! There are a few downsides to this method. I need to be careful with what I'm placing in my Git server to make sure I'm only pushing up what I want, and I'm also - for now - giving up the ability to clone my repositories from this site.
